ADOTAS – The performance-based widget distribution network, Gigya,
today announced that Todd Sims has joined the company as executive vice
president of corporate and business development.
Previously, Sims was in the executive ranks at Business.com and ESPN.com.
At Gigya, he will focus on expanding and deepening the company’s
media, publisher and industry relationships. At Business.com, Sims helped
guide the company toward its recent sale to R.H. Donnelley for $345
million.

is critical to strengthening Gigya’s position as the leading content
sharing infrastructure on the social web. I am thrilled to have Todd
join Gigya to lead these efforts and aggressively expand our technology
footprint,” said Eyal Magen, CEO of Gigya, in a release.
The company’s current partners include EyeWonder, DoubleClick,
MTV and Webshots.
Gigya delivers discovery and monetization solutions to the social media
world, connecting interactive advertisers, publishers and social media
users. It also boasts a widget ad model that handles design, development,
hosting, distribution, viral promotion and tracking.
